Last night I stumbled across this episode of Cold Case titled "Best Friends." Set in the 1930's, "Best Friends" tells the story of a blossoming love between two young interracial women and the tragic events that eventually tear them apart. It's a gripping episode that brought me to tears and it's definitely a must-see episode of the series.

Over the last few seasons RAD by Rad Hourani has become one of the fashion shows that I definitely look forward to. Rad's sleek and modern neo-gothic style never seems to disappoint and the fact that his collection is unisex just makes it even more appealing. And this season Rad continues to impress with architectural construction skills and hip urban style, creating a swathe of peep-toe heels, asymmetrical shirts and jackets, leather leggings, backpacks and retro-futuristic shades. Coming from the South, I know these pieces are very practical for every region during the Spring/Summer season but they are perfect pieces for this generations hip, gothic loving outcasts.
